Enterprise plays a vital role in the economic development of a country. It also provides opportunities for income and employment to poor, marginalized and unemployed youths at local level. RIMS-Nepal will promote business literacy, new business creation skills, business plan development, new technologies promotion for economic gain and product diversification, establish the linkage with financial institutions for the investment in its project area in collaboration with various stakeholders. Different kinds of vocational training targeting unemployed youths, women and poor, providing basic entrepreneurial and management skills could generate an overwhelming interest in micro- enterprises. It will create self-employment opportunities mainly for rural youth men and women. To strengthen small scale enterprises for income and employment generation and livelihood promotion RIMS-Nepal focuses its intervention on Small scale business promotion, train youths in entrepreneurship and business plan, linkage youths in financial institutions.
