Development through resource management

Leadership and Institutional Development

Nepal is in stage of transition to peace, democracy and stability. The development pathways are necessary but challenging. The agencies and actors in Nepal need to demonstrate leadership by supporting government and communities to achieve prosperity and socio-economic development. It is also time for NGOs like RIMS-Nepal to empower communities and rural institutions, with focus on marginalised and socially excluded groups to ensure human rights, social justice and gender equity. This requires innovative management skills and willingness to support change. The aim of the programme is to demonstrate leadership and management skills within RIMS-Nepal, local institutions and communities to make the service delivery efficient and effective. This programme also contributes to make Nepali institutions a change agent and partner of choice.
